Best currywurst and fries ever! 😋 My girlfriend and I went there for the first time today, and finally, currywurst and fries just like we remembered them from back in the day! It was a real treat! 😁 The atmosphere was lovely, and the staff were super friendly! We highly recommend it and will definitely be back! 👍

A lovely, old, quaint restaurant, one that's rare these days. It has a certain charm of its own. I felt comfortable. The owner and his wife are both very friendly. The beer came quickly and on tap. The food was freshly prepared and truly delicious. The portion sizes were also great. The value for money is also very good.

Very nice host, always checking to see if everything was okay. Service was great. The food was delicious and freshly prepared. I highly recommend it. We thought it was just a pub. But the food is good here. The ambiance is also very nice.

A small, very cozy restaurant with incredibly friendly and child-friendly hosts. We eat here regularly and always feel warmly welcomed. The food is consistently delicious – especially the currywurst, which we think is the best around. Highly recommended!

A lovingly run shop with incredibly friendly people. Very child-friendly and with a warm, rustic charm – cozy, welcoming, and simply a place to feel at home. The menu is small, but every dish is absolutely perfect and incredibly delicious. We wish there were more places like this.

Hi everyone, We recently ate at Friesenkarte and were very happy with our visit. For starters, we ordered the spicy currywurst to share. It was served already sliced, so everyone could easily help themselves – a small but thoughtful touch. The spiciness was exactly as described, especially since there's a much spicier version on the menu. The currywurst tasted great; the sausage comes from the local butcher, Mühlenbeck, which is definitely noticeable. For our main courses, we had several classics: The shashlik with croquettes was juicy, generously portioned, and cooked to perfection. The sauce was rich and well-balanced, the croquettes crispy on the outside and soft on the inside – just as you'd want them. We also ordered a cheeseburger with fries. The fries were crispy, and the burger was exactly what you'd expect from a good snack bar: classic snack bar flavor, classic burger sauce, and sliced ​​cheese – nothing fancy, just honest, down-to-earth, and absolutely perfect for the restaurant. For our final main course, we had the Jägerschnitzel (hunter's schnitzel) with fried potatoes. The sauce was ordered separately, but it arrived directly on the schnitzel. The owner apologized immediately – a clear kitchen error, which was addressed openly and politely. The fried potatoes, however, were a real highlight: crispy, homemade, not frozen, with bacon and onions – truly excellent fried potatoes. The creamy mushroom sauce was solid and pleasant, not a culinary masterpiece, but perfectly acceptable. The side dishes and portions were very generous overall. We were all more than satisfied and couldn't finish our plates. The price was surprisingly reasonable – almost too reasonable for the quantity and quality of the food. In conclusion: A very good, highly recommended restaurant with honest cuisine, large portions, and fair prices. We give it 8.5 out of 10 points and would definitely return.
